The Fancy Haircut

It's been a battle every day this summer to try to comb through that gorgeous honey-colored hair of Alice's.  She says she prefers it long and tangled.  I tackle her and drag a comb through the mess on days we have to get out, but honestly-there are some days a brush doesn't even get close. 

With those terribly early school mornings fast approaching I thought I'd better make life a little easier on us.  It was time for a trim.  She was not on board.  I tried convincing her that she needed a "Snow White" hair cut for her birthday party.  I even said she could get a Dora hair cut!  (barf)  But she still wanted it long like Rapunzel's.  So we compromised with a trim-and a super fancy kids hair salon.
