Welcome to the World, Baby Jude!

Jude Atticus was born on Friday, April 6th-Good Friday!  We checked into the hospital at 7:30am, and he was born at 9:23pm.  He weighed 7 lbs 9.5 oz and he was 19.5 inches long.  

Jason and my mom were there, my cousin Becki drove in from Houston, my doula friend Elizabeth was there with us all day, my midwife friend Kari came (after delivering a baby the night before and on that day!), Jamie and Lesley came and even Abbey made it-all the way from Santa Fe!

Becki Moore took these amazing pictures of Jude's birth and of Alice meeting Jude.  She is to awesome and talented!

Alice came in the next morning to visit us in the hospital and meet her new baby brother.  She brought a big bouquet of roses (thanks Pop and Das), and she was proudly wearing her "Big Sister" shirt.  She hopped right up on the bed with me and was ready to hold her new baby brother.  She was very happy and super sweet with him.
